WORLD FAMOUS BLUFF OYSTERS

Please don't leave Southland without trying our World Famous Bluff Oysters. Between March and August of each year, Bluff Oysters are dredged from the coastlines of Southland from Foveaux Strait created by nature and in totally natural beds (one of the few) our Oysters are succulent, delicate, and unique in flavor

BLUFF OYSTER FESTIVAL

Touted on their own website the Bluff Oyster Festival is listed as 'unsophisticated and proud of its' local fare including venison, lamb, beef, Titi (Muttonbird) pork, and of course Oysters, which can be washed down with local wines and ales.

Usually held toward the end of May each year festival tickets are always in huge demand, and sell out as soon as they are listed!

Book your accommodation as soon as you can delays can cause disappointment and unused tickets
